Heidi speaks to students at her alma mater
Heidi travelled back to her alma mater, SUNY Potsdam, to present her work to the chemistry department. She gave a talk titled “Investigating the Localization of Cryoprotectants in Plant Shoot Tips using Coherent Raman Microscopy” to current students. We’re so glad she was able to share her work with her alma mater!

Fionna gave a virtual talk at the Cryobiology conference, CRYO2022, titled “Visualizing PVS2 component permeation into Oryza sativa callus cells by coherent Raman scattering microscopy.” She did not travel to Dublin with Heidi because she was in New York writing for Scientific American.
