Kylie passed her literature seminar with flying colors, bringing her one step closer to her PhD! She presented on the various types of fluorescence microscopy used to identify plant stress. Kylie focused on fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy, a technique she herself hopes to use in her own research. Now that she’s cleared this hurdle, she will focus on completing more experiments and preparing for her candidacy exam. We are so proud of her!
