Fionna, Sam, Cyrus and Owen met Gayle Volk at the NLGRP at CSU on Friday to discuss the direction of the developing cryopreservation project.  Dr. Volk is one of the collaborators in the project and will be providing the plant cells to be used in CARs microscopy experiments. It was enlightening to see the extensive collection of preserved seed materials, demonstrating the necessity and tedium of plant material cryopreservation.
